I am on the high side of the rating (at 12.8) and I didn't have any trouble striking the ball. First and foremost, they feel good and even though they are rated for the better player, you don't have to be a PGA Tour player to hit them. Also (and almost equally important), I like the way they look. Call me vain, but one of the first things I do when I pick up a club off of the rack is to judge the appearance and the MP-59s put almost every other club to shame.
